Volunteers play a crucial role in the Tour de l'Alberta. Without volunteers the Tour would not have started and would not be able to continue. We treat our volunteers like Gold because that is what they are worth.
There are many different positions you can assist the Tour de l'Alberta including:
Pre Event Planning
Many of you would like to volunteer but love to ride the Tour as well. When you help as a pre event volunteer you can do both! Here is a list of some areas you can help with:
- Marketing & Communications
- Route Planning and Logistics
- Web Design
- Volunteer Management
- Prize Acquisition
- Registration
Day Of Volunteers
To run the tour we need over 50 volunteers in various positions. You can volunteer to help with:
- Rest stops
- Signage
- Route Support
- Food prep
- Parking
- End of ride cheering squad
- Set-up
- Tear down
Every volunteer position plays a critical role in the success and safety of every participant. Your time and efforts will be appreciated and rewarded. So come on out and join the ride as a volunteer. There is a position for everyone including those wanting to ride in the Tour.
