Tour de l'Alberta 50 km Route Introduced in 2008 for the first time, the 50 km route is a very popular event for beginning and intermediate cyclists or for any riders who just come out for the good company and scenery. For the last three years, over 150 riders accepted this challenge. If you've never ridden this distance before, this will be the best opportunity for you this year. No other ride will offer you the same level of support and camaraderie. The route is very scenic and takes cyclists through the best of what rural Alberta has to offer. One of the highlights cyclists enjoy is traveling through the French community of Legal and riders have the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved lunch break at the new gazebo in Citadel Park. Last but not least cyclists will revel in their success as they cross the finsh line to the cheers of spectators and fellow cyclists. A well-deserved finishers meal will round off a perfect day. |
