Tour de l'Alberta 100 km Route

The 100 km route is our most popular distance with 570 cyclists riding the route in 2011! Riding 100 km is known as the metric century, an exciting goal for many recreational cyclists that are ready to push themselves with the support of fellow friends and cyclists. What's your goal this year?

Over the years the route has seen a couple of variations with the most recent change done last year. This year, cyclists will once again enjoy this route's newest rest stop at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm. It will be hard not to be distracted by this playful farm but it will be important to keep riding because just down the road, riders will veer off to visit the Gibbons Museum, another favorite stop for riders in years past.

Even with these exciting changes, the lunch stop will still be located at the new gazebo at Citadel Park in Legal, a favorite stop for those cyclists who have completed this ride before. After all this excitement, and the thrill of completing a metric century ride, you'll be able to revel in your success as you cross the finish line to the cheers of spectators and fellow cyclists. Then enjoy a well deserved finishers meal.
